I spent weeks trying to get close enough to shoot a big red bass with the polespear and finally got my opportunity when the fish came together for a spawn. In the super dirty water I dropped a bunch of chum and the fish finally got dumb enough to let me close the gap with my maverick American bermudian polespear with a 110cm shaft duct taped to the end to lengthen the spear. I hit the fish right in the head and hurt him bad, very short fight and he was in the boat!
