Every day diving the edge of the reef I would see massive schools of milkfish but they were always very wary and would never give up the last few feet I needed to get within range. One day I got lucky and after a dozen dive bomb attempts that day on the fish I finally got one of the better fish to slip up and make a wrong turn as I neared the bottom. I threw my maverick American bermudian spear and hit the fish right in the gillplate. After a short fight I was super stoked to finally get a good one shot with the polespear into my hands!
