We were spending the day checking some new numbers. Jumped in on a section of reef that looked good on the depth sounder. As I cleared midwater, I saw many scamps off the bottom. As I approached one at two o’clock, I saw another, larger one at 11. I changed direction. As I carefully kicked towards the scamp, the scamp finned closer to me. Kill shot. A special thanks to Captain Manny and the vessel Brava. Without them, this record would never have happened.
