I was swimming along the reef when Luke pointed out the barracuda to me. We waited until it had eaten some chum for me to take the first shot with the pole spear that landed. I fought it while it was on the float line for several minutes before pulling it closer in to me and landing a second shot with the same pole spear injector rod right behind the gill. I held its head up above the water and swam it back to the boat.
