I had been in the water with my daughter for about an hour doing a little mentoring and trying to find her some fish to hunt but it was very cold and visibility was only about 5 feet so she decided to go back to the boat. At that time I decided to grab my Daryl Wong Hybrid and move into some shallower water thinking it might be a little warmer and hold some fish. Upon swimming into the shallower area I had not been seeing much and was getting ready to head back to the boat when out of nowhere I saw a large shadow heading my way in the murky water. I froze and slowly raised my gun in the direction of the shadow waiting for it to show itself. When clearing the edge of visibility I was very surprised to see the largest Tiger Musky I had ever seen I quickly fired sending my shaft right behind the gill plate a great shot. The fish dove down into the murk and began to spin I used the reel line to pull the monster from the bottom and into my hands. It was then I realized how truly big this fish was I swam back to the boat wrestling the fish the whole way and celebrated with my wife, daughter and dive buddy/brother in law.
