We headed out on Kayak from Pacific City at about 9:30 toward Chief Kiwanda Rock. We had each done a couple of dives and both boys had already shot their Cabs so were just keeping an eye out for me. Dan Flood Surfaced from a dive and called me over and said there was a huge Cab just below. I did my breath up and went down to find one lying flat between two rocks. I charged my spear and shot him just behind the head to ensure the slip tip would go all the way through. Once on the surface I fought with my Cab to get on the stringer which in hindsight should have been a bit bigger. Once I had finally got him on the boys came over for high-fives!
