Ritchie, Marilyn, and I took my Dory skiff out in the ocean so spearfish off the beach. The waves picked up and my anchor came lose so we decided to spearfish in the river instead. I dropped on one of my favorite river spots and saw this fish. I waved the boat over and grabbed my pole spear. I came back and the margate was still there. I shot this fish 3 times in the head. Black margate heads are very boney and hard. I have never seen a black margate this size in the river.
