Bimini Bahamas. Know a wreck in about 100ft of water just about a kilometer from South Bimini. Sometimes this wreck might hold big jacks mid water. So I went to take a look at it in the morning. It was glass calm, hot as hell, and 100 ft viz. Current was racing along at 2knts, which is good for that wreck. On my second dive on it, I saw this fish up current of the wreck going towards the structure. I dropped right on top of him and followed him down. At about 30ft down I was lined up on him, but he started to catch on and pick up speed. I broke off to the right like I wasn't a threat. After 5 seconds he turned and came up to me. Shot him in the belly, but it was enough to hold him off the wreck. After a quick 2 minute fight I had him in my hands. It wasn't until I got on the boat that I realized it was a pretty good one. Kept him on ice until I could check the record and was pleasantly surprised that the current yellow jack was 14. Ended up having 2 potential world records in 3 dives! Crazy! Blessed weekend!
