I was on the boat, and we were getting ready to move spots. Somebody noticed that a large amberjack was following an already shot amberjack towards the surface as the last diver in the water was pulling his fish with the float line. I quickly Jumped into the water with my 10 ft Keller Aquatics polespear, 100 ft of armor spectra float line and riffe 3 atm float. I took a shallow 30 ft dive and shot the amberjack that was following the already shot amberjack in the lateral line. The fish did not struggle and shook violently until I put my hands in its gills. I subdued the fish and headed back to the boat.
