We spent the day diving an area of flat rocks just outside of Driggs Hill, Andros. The depth was between 40ft on the shallow side and 55ft on the deeper side. I had seen lots of small to medium blue parrots that day, but none were large enough to take for dinner. I eventually came across a large rock with deep ledges on two sides. There was an abudance of small fish and a few small hogfish roaming the area. I decided to make a dive and look further under the rock. As I approached the bottom and piered under the rock I saw the blue parrot hiding in the far back side of the ledge. I loaded the band on my tunaskin polespear and landed a shot just behind the gillplate. My Tunaskin slip tip deployed perfectly and I swam to the surface with the fish.
