It was the last day and last dive of a great 6 day spearfishing trip to the Bahamas. Throughout the trip I spotted many ocean triggerfish, but on this dive I saw a trigger that was substantially larger than any I have seen. The fish was swimming in and out of a large coral head that had many caverns. I also noticed a small remora that was attached to the fish. As I approached the fish he started to dart into the coral head, that's when I let go of my pole spear and landed a good shot behind his head. The fish was pretty well subdue after the paralyzing shot. My slip-tip deployed perfectly and the fish was in the boat
