Upon arriving at the drop off I saw a shadow of a what I thought was a giant trevally. I quickly breathed up and took my drop. As I dove closer I was caught off guard when i realized it was not a giant trevally but the biggest knifejaw I had ever seen. As I got to the bottom this knifejaw slowly started to work my way. When he was within range of my rob allen 120 I squeezed the trigger and stoned him! I swim to the surface and it wasn't until I grabbed its tail did I realize that it was so big! I swam right in where I met up with my dive partner Justin Lee and we gave each other high fives and drove straight to the Malama Market to get it weighed. We met Gil and we went to their certified scale and my jaw dropped when the scale read 20.32 lbs!!!
